LMRCC SIXTH ANNUAL MEETING TO BE HELD
IN MEMPHIS, TENNESSEE


Personnel of the Arkansas Department of Pollution Control & Ecology and Arkansas Game and Fish Commission are preparing to co-host the Sixth Annual Meeting of the Lower Mississippi River Conservation Committee. A $20 registration fee will be charged for the meeting which will be held May 10-11, 1999 at the Holiday Inn Memphis East in Memphis, Tennessee. Guest speaker at the 1999 LMRCC meeting will be Dan McGuiness, Director of the National Audubon Society's Upper Mississippi River Campaign, of St. Paul, Minnesota.

Fisheries and Water Quality Technical Section meetings will begin Monday, May 10, at 1:00 p.m. and end at approximately 5:00 p.m. Dinner Monday night will be at the Rendezvous or Corky's. The LMRCC Executive Committee meeting will begin at 8:30 a.m. on Tuesday, May 11 and adjourn by mid-afternoon..

Room rates at the Holiday Inn Memphis East (901-682-7881 or 901-682-0536) are $79.00 single-double occupancy.
