Help Restore the Mighty Mississippi

The Lower Mississippi River Conservation Committee (LMRCC) is a not-for-profit, 501 (c ) (3) organization designed to support the sustainable economic and environmental development of the River’s resources in order to provide long-term benefits and encourage greater public participation in their management.

The organization is comprised of representatives from nine (9) natural resource conservation and environmental quality agencies in five (5) states in the Lower Mississippi Alluvial Valley. Formed in 1994, the LMRCC provides a permanent forum for its members and 10 federal, state, and private cooperating agencies to promote regional activities involving the conservation of the Lower Mississippi River’s resources.

You can play an important role in ensuring that the natural resources of the Lower Mississippi River are wisely used by making a fully deductible contribution to the LMRCC to support its activities.
